Easter Trip to Rome

Easter Trip to Rome

During the Easter holidays 53 of our second year students travelled through Italy on a 5-Day trip.  The students began their travels in Pisa where they visited the Leaning Tower and Baptistery before travelling on to Florence.  In Florence they spent a day seeing the sights and visiting various historical sites.  They viewed the Statue of David in Galleria dell’Accademia before visiting Siena and Monticatini in the evening.  Their third day was spent in Rome where the students were given a guided tour of the Colosseum and The Roman Forum.  That evening the students travelled south to Sorrento where they climbed Mount Vesuvius and paid a visit to Pompeii.  The students spent their final day in Rome where they had the opportunity to visit the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and they then spent a few hours shopping.  The teachers involved would like to thank all the parents/guardians for providing the students with the opportunity to go on the trip
