Victory for Juveniles in North Leinster Final

Victory for Juveniles in North Leinster Final

Well done to our Juvenile Footballers who won the North Leinster Juvenile Football Final today when they defeated St. Mary’s Edenderry SS on a scoreline of 3:05 to 0:04. This was a super performance from St. Pat’s played in artic like conditions particularly in the first half. Both teams are to be commended for been able to play any sort of football with particularly heavy showers of snow on the opening half.

St. Pat’s played against the strong wind in the first half but crucially went on level at half time on 0:2 to 0:02. In the second half St. Pat’s took advantage of the wind and scored 3 crucial goals. The final score read St. Pat’s 3:05 St. Mary’s Edenderry SS 0:04.

Congratulations to the lads on a super effort. Their hard work since September has paid off. Well done also to the management of Mr. Donnelly, Mr. Peppard & Mr. Tierney. The team now moves on to play Good Counsel in the Leinster Semi Final next week. Best of luck to all.
