The cross-country teams were out in force over the winter weeks as
they continued their training for the upcoming championship season.
Getting out in frosty, windy, wet and even sunny (if not warm)
conditions between 10 and 16 athletes were out ever day for four days
of Christmas training.
Organised by Mr. Moore, the festive season training has become a bit
of an annual tradition as athletes keep themselves fit with their
North Leinster finals very soon after they return to school. Having
run at the Hill of Tara for a number of years, the training has
recently moved to the Sheep and Porchfields in the centre of Trim.
Next up the athletes will rejoin with their other trainers Mr. Cregg &
Ms. McAuliffe as the prepare for next week’s DCU Invitational before
the North Leinster Championship”
