St Patrick’s Transition Year students took charge of Science Week in the school this year. Students designed a series of experiments for both Students in St Pats, and also St Anne’s Primary School.
Monday the 12th November the boys arrived at St Anne’s to the excited students ranging from junior infants all the wat up to sixth class. The Pats students each set up their station and waited for students to arrive. Scream of excitement and wonder ran throughout the school!
The St Pats Ty were not finished there! Later that evening and Tuesday 13th November they continued their spread of Science. Groups of Students went into 1st Year classes, demonstrating short experiments, and getting students to inquiry as to what was occurring. To finish their experiments the students were allowed to put their Science Teacher, Ms Kelliher’s hands on Fire! Thankfully she was unharmed and the 1st years enjoyed their TY experiments!
